Outside my window.. It is 103 degrees and SUPER sunny :)
The time is.. 11:30 Am
Today I feel.. Like being lazy. But I know I have stuff to get done!
I am thinking.. I can't wait to be back in Minnesota for good and be able to see family more than every few months.
At the moment, I am thankful.. for my wonderful husband and beautiful baby boy
I am going.. to get a new cast on today!!
I am wearing.. Okinawa sweats & a green tank top
I wish.. my living room was bigger, and my kitchen!

I am working on.. going through our house to get rid of all the extra stuff we don't need.
I am hoping.. This cast takes care of my wrist so I don't have to have surgery.

I bet you didn't know.. that one of my dreams is to be able to go on a cruise with my hubby for our 10th anniversary. For our Make up honeymoon :)

Typical Tuesday

What a typical Tuesday. No family around to entertain me anymore, just Joshua, Deuce and Me sitting home waiting for Daddy to get home from work. Attempting to get some cleaning done, but knowing its never gonna happen with my crabby little boy. No matter how typical, I love Tuesdays :) And you all know why!

TACO TUESDAY!!

Joshua has finally fallen asleep and here I am. On the computer. Typical Me :) I just decided I got a few things done and I deserve some me time. So what do I do? Take a shower, play my family feud on FB and check my bloggy world of course!

I got my cast wet today... I think I will end up going to get a new one tomorrow. This is already my 2nd one and tomorrow will be 2 weeks of having it on. ONLY 2 MORE TO GO!! I can't wait :) I've gotten it minorly wet a couple times but today was pretty bad... the bag I put on it in the shower had a hole. Oops!

I realized as I was looking through my pictures that I don't have many very good pictures of my Dad. He's a photographer so he's always on the other side of the camera!

Vacation week :)

We had a wonderful week with my family here and I am so sad that they are gone already! It went by way to fast. We did a lot though and had an awesome time. We swam every day, did some sight seeing and of course, took a TON of pictures. I can't wait until we get to move back home for good, I'm not good at this being away for years at a time stuff!

Today we have to run to base so ryan can sign back in and then we have to get some grocerys. Blech. I enjoyed not having to cook much and not cleaning while my family was here :) it was a much needed break!

5 question Friday

1. What do you think makes a good friend, or friendship?
A good friend is someone that loves you for you. Simple as that. And a good friendship is when you can just be yourself around that person. Not worry about what they think or try to impress them when you are together. Someone you don't have to talk to constantly but you know when you need them they will be there.

2. What is the last thing you bought & later regretted?
hmm... lets see. I think it would have to be the clothes I ordered off of American Eagle online last week. I do the same thing constantly. I order tank tops and shorts hoping something will fit and then end up returning all but one and then never wearing that one I kept. I ordered 4 tank tops and a pair of shorts and returned 2 tank tops and a pair of shorts. I have been getting rid of clothes like crazy lately so I had to keep some!

3. Have you ever had a prank played on you?
umm not really no. My husband tried to convince me he was going to be stuck in japan a week longer than he was supposed to so he could have a friend pick him up at the airport and surprise me but I was to smart and figured him out :) then we greeted him at the airport with signs after he had been in Japan for 3 years! It was great fun!

4. What is your favorite theme park?
hmm well I have only ever been to 6 flags and camp snoopy at the Mall of America (is that even considered a theme park?) but I don't like rides much at all so I would have to say I don't really have a favorite one!

5. Have you ever seen someone else give birth?
no I have not. I felt my babies head before he was out of me but I guess that's the closest i've been. I think it would be super cool though :) what an amazing experience!

Motivation

Sometimes when I need a little motivation, when I feel like nothing is right and nothing will ever be right, I look at hymns. I LOVE hymns. They are so true, so pure. A lot of them are directly from Bible verses, and that really lifts me up. This is one of my all time favorite hymns, I sing it to Joshua every night.

1. Come, thou Fount of every blessing,
tune my heart to sing thy grace;
streams of mercy, never ceasing,

It is so true! I LOVE the part I made bold up above at the end of the second verse. Jesus sought ME, he came looking just for me! How amazing is that? He knew I needed him to save me, that I was a horrible sinner and he was the only one who had the power to save me, so he SOUGHT ME out and saved me! What an amazing God we serve. I hope this was a little boost of motivation for someone today, I know it helps me SO often.

For real? Wednesday!

I went to the doctor for a sore wrist this morning. I left with a cast on my right arm up to my elbow. For real?!

I left a note on my neighbors trash can asking them to take them off of the street 4 days after the garbage man came. They threw the note away and left them out there. ARE THEY FOR REAL?!

My Son has decided the last 2 nights that its cool to wake up at 2 and stay awake until 4 and then be incredibly cranky all day. For real man?

I have dusted 3 times in the last 2 days. Yet my house still looks like I haven't dusted in months. For Real El Paso?! Why do you have to be so dry and dusty?



all right :) I feel better now. I am taking forever to type this because of the incredibly annoying cast on my right arm. They said they think I have some kind of cyst [EWW] on my wrist joint and the best way to get rid of it is to not move the joint. I hate it already and its only been 4 hours. I have to have it on for 4 weeks. And to top it off next week is family pictures. [ICK].

Well I need to get something done today. After 4 hours at the doctor this morning I feel like the day has been wasted. And I feel like I can't do anything because of my arm. Grr!

I am already sick of the heat. How about you? It was 109 here yesterday. And this picture was taken last night at 8:00 on the way home from church

YES, that DOES say 106 degrees. At 8:00 at night. HOW RIDICULOUS!

But I am getting a decent tan :) that is a good out of all this heat. I love the sunshine, but does it have to be so hot? I planted a flower today! I will have to get some pictures and put them up tomorrow. Here is the video and pictures I promised :)


No I do not let my 6 month old drink grape kool aid... psh.

He learned to roll over both ways finally, and brings his whole play mat with him :)

Wow.. Really?

It literally took me 10 minutes to get this page to open up! How frustrating. Our internet has been acting up lately and it is just awful. I haven't been on it more than an hour in the last week because it is driving me insane! Sorry I haven't been on here much, it just stresses me out too much.

I just went on facebook and was greeted by an awesome picture of my beautiful friend Kellie. Kellie and I went to highschool together and she graduated a year behind me and she also married her highschool sweetheart who is in the air force! This is my beautiful friend Kellie, she is 37 weeks pregnant with a precious baby girl!

I need to get some new pictures of my little man up here, it seems like he has grown up so much in the last week or so. He is rolling over both ways, can ALMOST sit up, he is starting to scoot on his belly and he is sleeping 9-5 every night! It is awesome and sad to me how fast he is growing up! I will try and get on tomorrow with some pictures and maybe even a video of him.

Wordless Wednesday

The longest day of my life...

Was yesterday!I woke up at about 4:00 so sick... it only lasted about 12 hours but it was brutal. I lost 5 pounds :) it was no fun while it was happening but hey I lost weight haha. I wouldn't do it again though, not a diet I reccomend!

Today was spent slowly starting to eat some food and making sure it stayed in and just resting and buliding back some strength. Its amazing how fast it hits and how long it takes to recover from it. I am still exhausted! Luckily Ryan's boss let him stay home yesterday and today and he took care of Joshua and did dishes and laundry. What an awesome man I have ♥

This also kind of messed with my breastfeeding because I was so dehydrated :( so we have had to start formula a couple times a day. It really bums me out. But at least we made it almost 6 months with nothing but nursing. My goal was a year but I didn't plan on getting sick!

Tomorrow my littler man has his 6 month check up, I am excited to see how much he has grown! I know he is getting huge. He is finally rolling over both ways and is SO close to sitting up on his own. He shakes his head "no" now and it is so cute :) I am so proud of my baby boy!!
